About Daniel

Daniel Thompson always knew that he wanted to design bridal gowns.

Daniel graduated from the world renowned Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City in 1975 and immediately went to work in Boston for the well-known 'Priscilla of Boston', under the direct tutelage of Jim Hjelm. Daniel returned to New York City where he was promoted to head bridal designer at Pandora Frocks. He later designed for Aria Bridals, Jena Bridals, Marina Bridals, Bill Levkoff, and Galina.

Daniel has spent the last 20 years establishing his own internationally known company, designing custom bridal, mother-of-the-bride, Communion and Christening Gowns, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, evening and Debutante gowns. Daniel is well-known in the Jewish community for catering to the need for modest designs. His collection has been available at Kleinfeld in New York City, Adrienne's Bridal in New York City and many other NY Bridal Salons including Bridal Couture in Manhasset, Fontana Bridals in Scarsdale, Bridal Couture in Staten Island, Brides by the Falls, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, The Collection in Winter Park, Fl., and as far away as London and Tokyo. More recently Daniel has been designing for Cocoa Couture in Hershey, PA, Sharon Batten Bridals in Ponte Vedra, Fl., and White Magnolia in Jacksonville, Fl.

All of Daniel's gowns are custom made, thus each bride's individual personality is represented throughout the design process. Daniel's philosophy has always been a one-of-a-kind bride deserves a one-of-a-kind dress.
